Cookie Policy — KEYTIGO

Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 23, 2026
Good news: KEYTIGO uses one of the smallest cookie footprints you will find online. No advertising, no tracking analytics, no social-media pixels. Just two essential pieces of browser storage and a verified-reviews widget. That is it.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your browser to remember something between visits. Other similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which work the same way but store data on your device rather than sending it back to the server. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.

2. What we use — the full list

Below is every cookie and storage item KEYTIGO sets on your browser, and what each one is for. This list is exhaustive — if it is not here, we are not setting it.

3. Third-party cookies (Trustpilot only)

We embed the official Trustpilot widget so you can read real, verified reviews from other customers. When this widget loads, Trustpilot may set its own cookies on your browser to operate the widget. These cookies are controlled by Trustpilot, not by us. To see exactly what Trustpilot sets, read Trustpilot's own Cookie Policy. If you block third-party cookies in your browser, the Trustpilot widget may not load — everything else on KEYTIGO will continue to work normally.

4. What we do not use

For clarity, KEYTIGO does NOT use any of the following:

  • Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or any other analytics service.
  • Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other advertising tracker.
  • Cross-site tracking or behavioural advertising cookies.
  • Session-recording or heatmap tools.
  • Social-media "Like" / "Share" buttons that load third-party scripts.
  • Affiliate-marketing tracking cookies.

We chose this minimal setup intentionally — fewer cookies, more privacy, faster page loads.

5. How long cookies and storage last

The two localStorage items above persist until you clear your browser's site data. They are not sent over the network and never reach any KEYTIGO server. Trustpilot's third-party cookies follow Trustpilot's own retention rules — see their policy.

6. Your choices

You are always in control of cookies on your device. You can:

  • Browse without dismissing the cookie banner — nothing breaks if you ignore it.
  • Clear KEYTIGO's localStorage at any time using your browser's settings. The site will still work — you will simply re-pick your currency on your next visit.
  • Block third-party cookies in your browser settings to stop Trustpilot's cookies. The reviews widget will show a small placeholder instead.
  • Use private/incognito browsing — no storage persists between sessions.

Quick browser links to manage cookies:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signal to websites. Because KEYTIGO does not track you in the first place — no analytics, no advertising, no profiling — these signals do not change anything on our side. We respect them by default through our entire setup.

8. Children

KEYTIGO is intended for users aged 18 and over (see our Terms of Service). We do not knowingly target or set cookies for anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

If we ever add a new cookie or storage item, we will list it in the table in Section 2, update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and announce the change on our homepage. We will never quietly add tracking technologies.
